April Benson joined Holman Cahill PLLC in 2023 and focuses her practice on amicable and collaborative family law, including divorce, parentage, and guardianships. Based in North Seattle, she works with clients throughout Washington State and often uses virtual meetings to provide accessible legal support.
Her practice centers on respectful dispute resolution and creative problem-solving outside of litigation. April brings experience from appeals, administrative law, and civil litigation, including time as a judicial law clerk and assistant attorney general for the State of Washington. She lives in Phinney Ridge with her husband and two children and enjoys creative pursuits, outdoor activities, and community involvement.

Heather Harman is an experienced coach specializing in mediation, post-divorce co-parenting, parent education, and life coaching. She has trained extensively with leaders in the field, including Karen Bonnell, and is certified through the Gottman Institute, the King County Dispute Resolution Center, and the Martha Beck Institute.
With an MA in Education and over a decade of teaching experience across all ages, Heather helps clients build and maintain healthy communication during and after major family transitions. Her approach is supportive, practical, and tailored to meet clients where they are while guiding them toward stronger, more connected relationships.

Since 2009, Jena Maxwell has focused her legal career on guiding individuals and families through divorce and other major life transitions with clarity, compassion, and strategic insight. As a family law attorney, she understands the emotional, financial, and relational challenges her clients face and works to provide thoughtful, values-driven solutions through litigation, collaborative law, and mediation.
Jena is the founder of Tailored Family Law and brings deep experience in complex financial matters and high-conflict custody cases, including those involving business assets and challenging co-parenting dynamics. She practices across Washington State and is known for helping clients feel heard, supported, and empowered as they move forward with confidence.

Jesse Deason founded the Washington Divorce Workshop in 2021. What started as a Second Saturday workshop in Everett eventually grew to become a virtual resource for anyone in the state needing high quality information about divorce.
Jesse Deason is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, and Enrolled Agent with deep expertise at the intersection of divorce and personal finance. She owns two complementary firms. Through Serene Divorce Planning, Jesse helps divorcing clients understand the financial trade-offs of different settlement options, serving as a financial mediator, financial neutral in Collaborative Divorce cases, and financial consultant retained by one spouse. In addition, Jesse is the founder of Serene Wealth Planning, a fiduciary financial planning and investment management firm dedicated to helping divorced individuals build clarity, confidence, and long-term financial stability.

Meg Gluckman is a certified divorce and co-parenting coach who helps parents navigate divorce with greater calm, clarity, and confidence. Drawing from both professional training and personal experience, she supports clients through the emotional and practical challenges of divorce so they can move forward feeling capable and grounded.
Having gone through divorce herself while parenting young children, Meg brings deep empathy and real-world insight to her work. She specializes in out-of-court divorce support and co-parenting guidance, helping clients reduce stress, understand their options, and build a healthier foundation for their next chapter.
